A student of Larkin’s Sunrise Yoga for Runners

As a student of Larkin’s Sunrise Yoga for Runners I have found her teaching to be insightful and challenging. She has focused on muscles that need to be stretched and limber before a run and then again a yoga practice for after a long run or intense race. This doesn’t take away from any traditional yoga poses and she has the experience to adapt any pose to my current physical situation. Larkin directs my awareness to the purpose of each pose making the connection deeper and my understanding of each asana a little clearer as my practice strengthens. Never a duplicated class, Larkin keeps practice fresh and engaging. She makes adjustments to my body so my form is correct and I love the hands on releases that she does so I “sink into” proper alignment. Ending each class with a beautiful guided meditation under the warm sun of the Safety Harbor waterfront is such a blessing to start the day.
